YouTube Turns 6, Releases Impressive Stats
In May 2005, the YouTube founders launched YouTube.com and today they released their most impressive stats yet. As of now, more than 48 hours (two days worth) of videos are uploaded to the site every minute, a 37% increase over the last six months and 100% over last year. YouTube's current 3 top projects:
- faster processing of uploads
- longer video lengths
- the launch of self-service live stream capabilities to partners
