The UMG Executive Shuffle – According to a compendium of rumors Sylvia Rhone will exit Universal Motown as early today (and may or may not return for a joint venture). Geffen Chairman Ron Fair has reportedly left to work at "American Idol" and Def Jam SVP of Finance Joe Borrino will join Jay-Z's Roc Nation. UMG Digital EVP and GM Amanda Marks will also reportedly shift to work with Rob Wells, the head of UMG's Global Digital Biz.
Apple's Stores turn 10 today. There are 323 stores in 11 countries and 1 billion visitors have come through the doors in the decade. Rumors continue of a big Apple Store related announcement today or tomorrow.
