• Google has removed Grooveshark from it's Android Marketplace because it "violated it terms of service". (CNet) The takedown probably came after pressure from the labels.  As of this morning, I coud not find find Grooveshark in Amazon's new app store either.
• Australian social music start-up MusicHype has hired former Blip.fm exec Kevin King as CEO to lead the company’s expansion into the US market.
• Universal Music Group Distribution have launched Groovetown Vinyl, a new online storefront specializing in high-quality vinyl and FLAC downloads.
