Koch Buys Navarre

Koch has bought music and video distributor Navarre for $6.5 million. (press release)

It is unclear what consolidation of staff and resources will follow.  But with the retail brick and mortar music market shrinking rapidly more consolidation within the distribution sector should be expected in the coming months.
