as to the lyrics problem, labels can claim that these lyrics are an effect, not a cause of any problem, which is mostly true. One problem that confronts everyone is that as soon as you tell young listeners that they can’t have a particular cd (due to offensive content), that CD will shoot to the top of the charts- how do we stop that?
