Michael Brandvold on a life in music from behind the scenes

Michael Brandvold recently spoke ablut the struggles of those that work behind the scenes in music. Organized by Support Life And Music (SLAM), the panel discussed a life in music from backstage, the office and even a highway rest stop.

Hypebot readers know Michael as the co-host of the Music Biz Weekly podcast and frequent contributor. He’s also a veteran music marketer whose clients have included Blackie Lawless, KISS, Bravewords and many more.

Also featured in the discussion were Pamela Parks (David Ellefson, Kings of Thrash, Kill Devil Hill), and Jarvis Leatherby (Night Demon, Cirith Ungol, Midnight). They all joined Jack Mangan to talk about how to survive, stay sane, and safely navigate the dangers of managing artists at all levels.
