In a new public filing, **The Recording Industry Association Of America,** revealed that, even as the record companies that fund it struggled, the trade group's two top executives were pulling in a whopping $4.78 million in compensation in 2009\. President **Cary Sherman** collected a total of $3,185.026, CEO and Director **Mitch Bainwol** received $1,614,904 and several other executives were paid in the $500-600,000 range.
