Tomorrow September 3rd, a new month brings another Bandcamp Friday promotion that will see the indie music hub waive all sales in an effort to help indie artists and labels during the COVID-19 crisis.

The promotion, which will last through the end of the year, has sold well over $75 million in music and merch to date.

“Just as amazing is that since the pandemic hit in March, fans have bought more than $75 million worth of music and merch directly from artists and labels,” Bandcamp’s Ethan Diamond writes, “and to date, fans have paid artists over half a billion(!) dollars on Bandcamp.”
