BandPage has served as a **cornerstone of many artist's web and Facebook presence** since it launched in 2009\. But when **Google's YouTube purchased the company** in February of this year, major change became inevitable.

As of March 1st, 2017, BandPage is discontinuing many key features that artists have used for years and migrating others to YouTube, as it pivots to serve as a profile and direct to fan tool for the video platform's many creators. BandPage users will no longer have access to the BandPage editor and these key features will be discontinued:
- Website widgets
- Bandpage.com public-facing profiles
- The BandPage Facebook applications
- BandPage store and event features
- Facebook and Twitter integrations
- Custom website
- Account creation and ability to add new admins
Content currently displayed on BandPage and distributed to partner sites and services through the discontinued features will no longer display on partner platforms. That includes any offers sold directly through the BandPage Store, custom website widget integrations and installed Facebook applications.**Look For Alternatives Now** [![Youtube_logo](http://hypebot.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b36c69e201bb09607ff6970d-150wi "Youtube_logo")](http://hypebot.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b36c69e201bb09607ff6970d-popup?ref=hypebot.com)In other words, if you've been using BandPage to sell experiences and merchandise on Facebook or your site, you better start looking for alternatives. ReverbNation has put together a How To Switch guide that replaces many of BandPage's offerings and other D2F providers are likely to follow.
