Bandsintown, already the go-to platform for live show marketing, has added free Release pages to help artists announce new music, merch drops, contests. tours, presales, and more.

Artists keep the contact info for fans that RSVP from the page, and fans are notified when the Release goes live.

Study after study has shown the [importance of active fans](https://www.hypebot.com/midia-bandsintown-release-landmark-return-to-live-study/) who drive both engagement and revenue and [Bandintown For Artists’](https://www.artist.bandsintown.com/?ref=hypebot.com) Release pages offer a free tool to attract, capture and communicate with them.

Bandsintown recently announced that its community has grown to 80 million registered live music fans, up 10 million in the last year, and 589,000 registered artists.

Just out of beta, release pages have already proven valuable to artists. Kesha added 2,800 new fan emails to her mailing list with her recent Release page and ultimately generated 7,900 ticket clicks with this campaign.
