That leads to a lot of ticket transactions, many of which just got smoother thanks to a new **Ticketmaster** partnership.

Concert discovery app Bandsintown has added in-app purchases to all Ticketmaster shows powered by the ticketing giant's transactional Partner API

The new functionality will streamline the fan experience allowing for easier discovery and purchase Ticketmaster ticketed concerts. The Bandsintown app is available on both iOS and Android, and this new feature will be introduced with select events in late March.

“Our main goal at Bandsintown is getting more music fans to concerts. Today, the app drives 7 million leads a month to primary ticketing sites,” said Fabrice Sergent, CEO of Bandsintown. “By building on Ticketmaster’s new capabilities, we have dramatically improved the user experience, strengthening artists’ and promoters’ ability to sell out shows.”
