[CD Baby](http://cdbaby.com/?ref=hypebot.com), the indie music child that [Derek Sivers](https://www.hypebot.com/derek-sivers-barking/) skillfully birthed and took into its teens, is now growing up under the guiding hands of new owners Discmakers. The compeltely revamped site which went live a few days ago offers a much sleeker experience for both artists and fans of indie music. 

In additon to a new design, new features include:

- artist pages that house multiple releases
- [single song downloads](https://www.hypebot.com/cdbaby-to-add-single-song-downloads/) at [variable prices](https://www.hypebot.com/rates-go-up-for-downloads-sold-from-cd-baby-site/)
- direct uploading of new material eliminating a cumbersome mail-in process
