CD Baby’s inclusion in the YouTube Preferred Distributor Program means that YouTube now recommends the company to artists who want to distribute music to YouTube.

“CD Baby has always had a strong relationship with YouTube going back to our early inclusion in YouTube’s Content ID feature, helping independent musicians earn money from their tracks wherever they appear on YouTube, the DIY distributor said in a [blog post](https://diymusician.cdbaby.com/news/youtube-preferred-partner/?ref=hypebot.com). “We are honored to become a charter member of YouTube’s Preferred Distributor Program and help artists like you get your music on the platform.”
