While wrapping up my final week at Hypebot I've been preparing Crowdfunding For Musicians for a return to action. The music crowdfunding landscape has gotten a lot more interesting and certainly deserves a dedicated site. In addition, I updated Music Biz Blogs including adding a number of new blogs. But there's room for a few more that meet certain requirements if you contact me soon.

I launched [Crowdfunding For Musicians](http://crowdfundingformusicians.com/?ref=hypebot.com) in 2012 and shut it down last year. Over the last week or so I've been moving it to a WordPress install and getting it ready for next week.

I'm adding a section for music crowdfunding press releases. I'll [update here](http://crowdfundingformusicians.com/2014/10/press-release/?ref=hypebot.com) over the weekend with info on submitting press releases as well as news and video links. Unfortunately things went a bit off the rails this week so I'm behind on completing the new site.

Fortunately, before things got out of hand, I also updated [Music Biz Blogs](http://www.musicbizblogs.com/?ref=hypebot.com).

I removed inactive blogs and added a few that meet certain criteria including mostly posting business news not including album release news/reviews. Regular posting is generally required though a few get a pass due to high quality and focus.

And I added Lefsetz. I don't get the attraction but the people have spoken.
