Just in case you had any doubts about the power and profit potential of ringtones, Dem Franchize Boyz (So So Def/Virgin/EMI) have sold one million master ringtones a week before their first full CD release. Part of a growing sub-genre called "snap," crossed the threshold a full week before their full album release. Two catchy tracks – "I Think They Like Me" and "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" – are fueling the sales.
