iPhone game maker Tapulous has been [acquired](http://techcrunch.com/2010/07/01/tapulous-acquired-by-disney/?ref=hypebot.com) by Disney. Tapulous is the maker of the hugely popular Tap Tap Revenge mobile music video game. The company has created custom themed versions of the game based on a number of popular artists including Metallica, Jusiin Bieber, Lady Gaga and the Dave Mathews Band. Their new Tap Tap Radiation for the iPad appears to be a hit as well.

Disney also recently invested $33 million in mobile game maker Playdom. Details of the Tapulous purchase were not released.
