According to the [SEC filing](http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1400524/000140052410000001/xslFormDX01/primary%5Fdoc.xml?ref=hypebot.com) the round included 14 unnamed investors. The company previously raised a round of capital lead by Commonwealth Capital Ventures.

The company’s web site says that it is developing a "musical brain" to “understand the latest trends, buzz and fan opinion” based on previous research from MIT, Columbia and the U Cal Berkeley.
