Eliot Van Buskirk discusses the impact of Mozilla’s new technology which allows users to easily record audio and video on the music world. On Thursday, Mozilla released the audio recording Add-On called Rainbow to pair with “cloud-computing”. The Add-On fits well with the growing trend of music in the cloud. According to Van, this technology is likely to [lead to several things](http://mozilla.libresoft.es/images/mozilla-foundation-logo-250x235.png?ref=hypebot.com): music identification, simpler online recording, compatibility with Apple and other devices, video controls, and audio/video participation in live concerts.
