Musicians have a hard time focusing and paying attention to feedback. There are so many distractions, but focus will help in any career. On [Music Think Tank](http://www.musicthinktank.com/blog/focus-independent-artist-success-or-failure.html?ref=hypebot.com), Jamie Leger encourages musicians to focus on creating great music, building and engaging with a fan base, and making sure that you are profitable.

“We need **YOU** to contribute, to inspire, to make people feel again, and experience all of the simple and profound beauty that you resonate through your stories, your music, and from your soul.” ([Read On](http://www.musicthinktank.com/blog/focus-independent-artist-success-or-failure.html?ref=hypebot.com))
