Today Google announced:

- [![Chromecast-audio](http://hypebot.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b36c69e201bb0879c61d970d-200wi "Chromecast-audio")](http://hypebot.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b36c69e201bb0879c61d970d-popup?ref=hypebot.com)Alongside a version 2 of its **Chromecast** dongle Google added Chromecast Audio(pictured right), a similar device that turns any speaker with an AUX out into an Internet-connected device thus allowing streaming.
- **Spotify** is now available on both the **Chromecast** and **Chromecast audio** platforms.
- A **6 person Google Play Music family plan** for $14.99 per month. The plans will be available “later this year.” By contrast, $14.99 on Spotify would get you two users and 6 users would cost $34,99
