Earlier this week [Grooveshark proudly announced](https://www.hypebot.com/grooveshark-app-returns-to-googles-android-market/): "After working closely with **Google** to get rogue apps removed, we're delighted that the official [Grooveshark app has been reinstated](https://www.hypebot.com/grooveshark-app-returns-to-googles-android-market/) in the **Android** market." But as of today, the **Grooveshark** app has been once again removed from Google's app marketplace.

Grooveshark has been the subject of intense criticism from the music industry along with several lawsuits. It would logically follow that pressure from the labels – whom Google already have a rocky relationship with over mp3 search – led to the latest removal.
