With last week's [announcements](https://www.hypebot.com/google-launches-multifront-assault-to-grab-its-share-of-music-marketplace/), Google made it clear that music is going to play [a major roll](https://www.hypebot.com/google-launches-multifront-assault-to-grab-its-share-of-music-marketplace/) in the services that it's rolling out in the coming months. Some are even calling Google the iTune's killer. But how will a Google music service work? This short explanation comes via [Slate](http://www.slate.com/id/2254532/?ref=hypebot.com):

You press play and the song starts in seconds."
