Kyle has written part-time for Hypebot for two years and more recently served as Associate Editor. His work has largely been a labor of love. I don't think I'm exaggerating to say that Kyle Bylin lives to understand and write about the music industry and he's already been the source of some of Hypebot's best and most forward thinking writing.

Hypebot will continue to serve both as a source of news and commentary filtering out the hype and spotlighting the important and useful.

There will be some **exciting announcements** in the coming days, including a significant **redesign** and the **addition of a major music 2.0 blog** to the Hypebot family. To keep moving forward, we need your continued support as readers, as fans helping to spread the word and as sponsors who help us keep the lights on.

But **today is about Kyle Bylin.** Please join me in congratulating him on his new position as the Editor of Hypebot.com. *– Bruce Houghton*
