Band The Zax For Sale On Ebay

I just got an email from a band, The Zax, saying they were for sale on eBay.  While I can’t decide if this isn’t a bit like pimping yourself; I have to admit that it caught my eye and that I clicked through to the auction.  Sadly, the current top bid is only $15.50.

Here’s the pitch on eBay:

The money from this auction will help aid the release of The Zax debut album entitled, “Umbrella.”

We promise to match, with the profits from our record sales, the highest bid and donate it to the charity of the winner’s choice (or if they have no preference, to our choice, VH1’s Save the Music Foundation).

In addition, we will help promote your name, company or charity by having your logo, or name printed on our CD packaging.

And as an added incentive the winning bidder will also receive the first copy of the album.
