BIG SUMMER CLASSIC TOUR GETS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Bigsummerclassic010605(CelebrityAccess MediaWire)  Organizers for this summer’s BIG Summer Classic 2005 Tour have announced that they are in the process of determining how the event with “Go Green!”

So far, they plan to use biodiesel fuel provided by RoadShow for all tour buses and generators along the way, and will also host a solar stage at all stops along the way.

The official water sponsor will be BIOTA bottled water, who uses a 100% biodegradable plastic bottles. Conscious Alliance will be hosting food drives at each stop along the tour, and encourages all fans to bring ten non-perishable food items to donate.

The BIG Summer Classic 2005 tour will be featuring headliners The String Cheese Incident, as well as a slightly rotating cast of performers including Keller Williams, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Umphrey’s McGee, New Monsoon and Xavier Rudd. It is this summer’s largest traveling festival of its kind, and will be making 17 stops in 15 cities along the way. – by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
