Radio Loosing Key Listeners To Web

According to an aricle from Billboard Radio Monitor: "A new study has confirmed …Music radio stations are facing increasingly powerful competition from the modern music culture. The study, conducted by TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence, also says…’Listener bases appear to be shrinking,’ TechnoMetrica analyst Constantine Kambanis says…The largest number of defections is coming in the 18-24 age group, according to a story on techweb.com. Currently, about 1 in 7 adults, representing 15 million households, say they listen to music from the Web, rather than on the radio, according to the report. Among young adults, that number jumps to nearly 1 in 3, or about 9 million people."
