  1. There’s a difference between digital albums and digital tracks. It’s a distinction that’s made for accounting and tracking purposes. Sometimes people *do* download albums. More often they download tracks from an album.
    The term “album” does not denote a particular format when it comes to tracking sales. An album can be purchased in many formats: CD, LP, cassette and digital.
