Teens Turning Away From Radio In Droves

It’s no secret that broadcast radio is in big trouble particularly when it comes to attracting younger Radio_tower_3listeners.  Teens are listening to 20% less radio than they did a decade ago and it’s getting worse.  The reasons:
  • Intense competition with the web, video-games and other new media.
  • Radio’s unwillingness to target the 12-24 year old demo.
