Cingular Teams With XM, Yahoo!, Napster and eMusic.

Instead of starting their own competing music service Cingular is smartly teaming with XM for 25 commercial free channels (XM press release) plus downloads from Yahoo! Music, eMusic and Napster across their large cell network. (Cingular press release)

The move could complicate Cingular’s budding relationship with Apple that had been rumored to include a much anticipated iPod phone.
