EMI Reports $57.9 Million Loss But Promises Christmas Surprise.
It appears that P2P and other pressures are continuing to plague the major labels as EMI this morning reported that its revenue fell 6.1% for a net loss of $57.9 million for the six months ending Sept. 30. This compared with a restated profit
of $69 million pounds just a year earlier. The company promises to make up the l oss in the second half and hit yearly targets with releases by Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Robbie Williams and others.
