EMI Reports $57.9 Million Loss But Promises Christmas Surprise.

Emi_47It appears that P2P and other pressures are continuing to plague the major labels as EMI this morning reported that its revenue fell 6.1% for a net loss of $57.9 million for the six months ending  Sept. 30. This compared with a restated profit Santa_surpriseof $69 million pounds just a year earlier. The company promises to make up the l oss in the second half and hit yearly targets with releases by Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Robbie Williams and others.

  1. back in the late 80s, the band sigue sigue sputnik claimed they would make so much money they would be able to buy EMI. in a couple years, they just might be able to. with the change they find in their couch.
