Hollywood Reporter Music Editor Morris Out As 10 Staffers Axed

Merry Christmas baby. This business sure don’t treat people right.

Music Editor Chris Morris is out at The Hollywood Reporter on a day that saw 9 others let go in a major restructuring. It is expected that music content from sister publication Billboard will be substituted. Morris came to the Reporter not long ago from Billboard where we thoroughly enjoyed is weekly indie label column. Technology columnist Diane Mermigas was also let go.
