Mercury Records Needs A&R Interns

Mercury Records is seeking interns for the upcoming summer semester. They are looking for students eligible to receive school credit and that live in:

  • Denver

FROM MERCURY: "This is an unpaid internship in the A&R Department.
Interns will partake in a variety of activities including new music
research, talent scouting, attending local shows, and critiquing
incoming music.

We are seeking individuals with a particularly strong passion for music
and the music business. Candidates must possess good communication
skills and have the ability to attend local shows. Sufficient computer
and internet skills are a must.

This is a hands-on internship and a great stepping-stone into the music
industry. Only eager candidates need apply, as this is a highly

  3. As a young man I wrote copy and orchestrated publicity for a major concert promoter in Oregon.
    I spent many years working in the film business as a propety master and publicist.
    My great passion, however, is for music.
    I have a great commercial sense and a keen ear. I am also savy at in the area of publicity.
    It would be a great thrill to intern at your label for the summer with the possibility of earing an entry level position.

  5. I attend the College Of Southern Nevada/Las Vegas and am 3 credits shy of obtaining a certificate in Music Business and Technology. With this program I have learned how to perform many jobs in the music industry, such as recording engineer, A&R, manager, producer and so on. I am an aspiring publisher/songwriter and would love the opportunity to further my career with your label.

  7. I am currently a Junior at Virginia State University and I major in Business Management. I have always had a passion for good music. I am also currently working on starting my own business. I have a group who has extremely hot single out. The Virginia State campus are loving the song. All we need is someone to hear us out that understand what good music is. If you give us a chance you will love us.
