Study Says Global Digital Sales Will Pass CD’s In 3 Years

According to a new PriceWaterhouse study, in just three years the digital distribution of music will surpassCd_many physical distribution globally as mobile phone delivery becomes a bigger part of the music-selling formula.

The Asia Pacific rim will experience the largest conversion with Latin America next. Surprisingly Canada is another hot spot with 35% per year digital growth predicted for the next 3 years. (PW Pubic Summary). PW forecasts that digital growth will "reinvigorate" the ailing music Iphone industry.

And while music industry needs reinvigoration, a related Price Waterhouse predicts a solid 7.3% annual growth for the larger entertainment and media sector. (press release)
