  2. Well let’s be honest, a lot of music consumers listen to low quality music to conserve space on the flash drives of their cell phones/smart phones and flash mp3 players. Also, I’d wager a bet that says most music consumers don’t listen to their music through quality output devices – it’s usually cheap PC speakers, the stock iPod ear buds, etc.. In this age, it seems like sound quality is increasingly irrelevant to the consumer.
I find that funny considering that a selling point of a lot of these new TV sets and even DVDs is the quality of picture…now why can’t we get our casual music consumers to give a damn about the quality of sound?

  3. I totally agree with you Ron Smith. Not only that, the other day a friend of mine insisted that AAC which was converted from MP3 has better sound quality! I was shocked when I got the samples! It was totally the opposite!
These days, most people don’t know what a really good sound quality is anymore.
It’s sad that even professional recording studios produce crap sound quality.

  4. Thanks for the comments. Issues like this are just another reason for the consumer to stop paying for music…And thanks for correctign my spelling.
