  1. I listened to the entire interview with Bronfman that is the basis for the Reuters article, and I did not come away with the impression that he hinted WMG may drop DRM. To the contract, WMG’s experiment with Lala.com on the James Blunt album has all the trappings of typical DRM. Once the song is loaded to an iPod, it cannot be transferred to another iPod or another computer. Sounds like classic, by-the-book DRM to me!
