This is a great resource. I would add the book The Innovators Dilemma by Clayton Christensen. It is not about the music business but it is all about disruptive technology, which the music business, in turn, is all about.

Remind me to now take every future glowing article you post about Amazon with a big grain of salt. Conflict of interest much?
On Amazon – Thanks for commenting. I guess I could have chosen another bookstore affiliate program (I make a big 8% on each sale)but is seemed to me that they offered the best price and selection. I hardly think this is a conflict any more than taking Google Adsense’s whopping hundred bucks a month put me in their pocket.
And just oit of curiosity what part of a recent Amazon piece do you see as untrue or over the top?
