Sony BMG Merger Back In Court

Ever since 2004 when the merger was announced, the possibility has loomed that the companies would be forced to split apart by the EU. The  clouds grew a good bit darker today.

The EU’s highest court based in Luxembourg just ruled that the lower courts did not handle the case properly when it overturned EU regulatory approval for Sony and Bertelsmann AG to combine their music units. (read more @ Reuters)
