I’m Looking For A Public RSS Aggregator

Question_mark_2
I’m looking for a quick and easy way to publicly share some of the top RSS feeds that I look at every day to prepare Hypebot’s Daily Music Briefing and articles.  Free is nice, but I’ll pay if I need to.

I’d love to have it in place before I leave for vacation on Thursday. Free is nice, but I’ll pay a bit if I need to.

Any ideas?

  1. We use Joomla’s opensource content management system for our site and they have an extension that allows us to publicly display several RSS feeds. I’m not sure how it would integrate with your existing site but it might be worth checking out if you don’t find an easy plugin for what you’re currently using.
The RSS feeds on our site can be seen at the url below:

  2. easy: yahoo pipes. it’ll take you 3 minutes to do and it’s even free.
    do a google search on:
    yahoo pipes aggregate feeds
Plus you can put even put in filters (ie if “lefsetz” appears in the post dont include it, etc.).
Once you have the aggregate feed you can use it to feed any number of things (a temporary blog for instance).

  3. Yahoo pipes is the way to do it. You can just aggregate the feeds, exclude certain posts from the pipe and publish away. There are lots of pipes already set up by other users so you should be able to find something to model yourself on.
