Nominate Top Indie D.I.Y. Info Sites

Contest_winner
There are an endless array of web sites and blogs that offer advice to independent and d.i.y. musicians. But which sites are really worth your time? Which are most useful on a continuing basis?

Help out your fellow Hypebot readers by nominating 1 to 5 of your favorite web destinations (aside from Hypebot, of course) for indie musicians. We’ll take the most popular, add a few of our own and do some voting next week.  The goal is not a single winner, but 5 or so "best of" sites.

  1. My top 3, in no particular order:
    1. Bandzoogle
    2. Nimbit
    3. Audiosocket
There aren’t any others, including a few named above, that’re directly helping artists without helping themselves first…

  2. MySpace has got to be the most helpful.
    Facebook music these days too.
    Hooka.com similar to MySpace/Facebook
Skoggins.com for booking (has a free mailer similar to Sonicbids)
    Reverbnation.com has some cool widgets.
