Jeff Kwatinetz Leaves The Firm. Is Anything Left?

Jeff Kwatinetz has left one time management powerhouse The Firm taking Korn, Jane’s Addiction and Ice Cube with him according to Variety.  His movie star manager partner Rick Yorn and several other top execs also departed The Firm within the last month.

The move represents a major fall from grace for a man and company that at one time seemed on the verge of creating a rival to Irving Azoff’s Frontline management firm. There’s also irony to Kwatinetz leaving the failing company he created and ran just days after Azoff sold Frontline to Ticketmaster for more than $100 million. What is left of assets and staff at The Firm remains unclear.
