Coverage indicates that the RIAA is going to drop the lawsuits because they think they have some ISPs on board for extrajudicial sanctions based on accusation, some variation of “three strikes.” I’m not sure this counts as an improvement. What percentage of error will be acceptable here? Who will be liable for the suits from innocent end users who get cut off?
    And finally, for the guilty: what will it mean to cut people who are highly interested in music off of music’s most important marketing and sales channel?
