IODA Expands Dance & Electronic Offerings

Using Miami's Winter Music Conference as the backdrop, digital distributor IODA  expanded its dance and electronic music offering with the anncounncement of  worldwide agreements Turntables - dj
with five new dance & electronic music labels and three boutique retailers.

The new labels include AEI Media Ltd, Easy Street, MN2S, Naked Music, and Soulheaven. New dance retail partners include Boomkat, Halcyon and Wax Poetics. These new partnerships add to IODA’s existing dance and electronic client base which includes Ghostly International, King Street and Jellybean, as well as, specialty shops like Beatport, Juno and DJ Download.

The Labels

AEI Media Ltd
A premium Drum & Bass website and catalog, AEI is a UK based media company serving web, mobile and live content to several online Drum & Bass communities.  Its products include the well-respected Drum & Bass Arena website, D&BTV, Audio Arena, and its renowned download store.

Easy Street Records

Easy Street has had a consistent run of hits over the past three decades including such favorites as "You Don't Know" by Serious Intention, Cultural Vibe’s "Ma Foom Bey," "In & Out of My Life" by Adeva, "Hideaway" & "That Look" by De' Lacy and many others. The label is currently completing several compilation albums to celebrate its 25 years of producing some of House music's most enduring classics.

MN2S

Having stormed on to the Dance music scene in the mid 1990’s, London based house label MN2S has defined itself as one the most established and respected brands in Dance music worldwide. Hosting more than 100 events per year across the globe, MN2S is notorious for its extensive international artist roster, which includes legends like Fedde Le Grand, Martin Solveig, Kenny Dope, Joey Negro and Bodyrox.

Naked Music

Founded in 1998, the Naked Sound was born at the intersection of Dance, Soul and Electronic music. Its catalog includes high profile remixes from artists like Kaskade, Miguel Migs and Andy Caldwell. New releases from Blue Six serve to further refine and reinterpret Naked’s musical mission.

Soulheaven
Soulhaven is an undisputed leader and purveyor of quality soulful House music with a roster of DJ’s and producers that is the envy of many. Soulheaven was launched in 2001 to great acclaim by Zoo Management and Oli White at the Ministry of Sound in London, with long time favorite and Master at Work – Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez, plus then resident Bobby & Steve, Chrissy T, Jeremy Newall and Andy Ward.

New retailers

Boomkat
is a specialist music store with a dedicated team focused on genres that are not particularly well covered by other services in the Electronic space. Boomkat curate their own branded, themed compilations that dig into deep catalog titles.

Halcyon
is the online retail outlet of the famed DUMBO record shop. Focusing on new independent music from Afro-Latin to Techno, Halcyon excels at championing the hidden gems that might otherwise be missed by their discerning New York clientele.

Wax Poetics is the digital retailer for the online edition of the illustrious print journal of the same name. Best known for bringing a new level of academic scrutiny and respect for genres like Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, R&B and Disco, Wax Po readers rely on these experts to dig through both digital and physical crates on their behalf.
