Why Own A Radio? Sirius Preps iPhone App

After several quarters of slowing subscriber growth, Sirius XM yesterday revealed that it is preparing an iPhone app that should be ready by next quarter.  No pricing details were given, but XM Sirius head Mel Karmazin admited, "It behooves us to consider every possible way to grow our subscriber base". The company is exploring streaming its content through satellite TV provider DirecTV.
