SoundCloud Atracts $3.3M Funding

SoundCloud, a net based audio platform that enables musicians to send, receive and distribute music, has received €2.5 million ($3.3M USD) from Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures in its first institutional round of equity financing.

SoundCloud provides a platform to privately exchange music enabling easy
studio quality collaboration without any specialist technical expertise.  The company was founded in 2007 and since its launch in October 2008 has
attracted more than 100,000 registered users.
