c/o pop Convention Gathers Momentum
With Popkomm taking a year off, the importance of the c/o pop – Pop Culture 2.0 gathering August 12-16 in Cologne, Germany has increased exponentially.
The organizers have risen to the challenge with an impressive array of speakers including the always opinionated Peter Jenner, Jim Griffin of Choruss, Band Metric's Duncan Freeman and representatives of EMI, SoundCoud, Mute and others. More are confirming daily, but you can read the current list here. China 2.0 is a topic seldom seen on conference agendas but covered at Pop Culture 2.0. A substantial schedule of live performances will also run concurrently.
