Amazon MP3 Launches In Austria & Switzerland

Continuing its march across Europe, Amazon MP3 launched in Austria and Switzerland early Thursday morning. The sites are now live at www.amazonmp3.at and www.amazonmp3.ch. Each launched with more than 10 million tracks encoded at 256 kbps with additional tracks and labels being added daily.

Tracks in both stores begin at 68 cents. To celebrate the launch, more than 2000 albums are on sale at $4.99 euro. Each site also features local content.
