Google Buys Ads On Microsoft’s Bing To Boost Music Search Use
The fact that search advertising helps reach a well targeted audience is no secret. But when one search engine buys ads on another, it feels a bit like an act of desperation. It felt that way when Microsoft bought ads on Google seach to promote it's own Bing search engine; and it feels that way now when Google is buying ads on Bing to promote Google Music Search.
