Pomplamoose: YouTube Helps Band Make A Living

Pamplamoose is Nataly Dawn and Jack Conte.  They record their self-dubbed videosongs in Conte's childhood Brooklyn bedroom. Most are quirky covers of popular songs. The two play all the instruments and don't do a lot of takes. No hidden sounds. If they use an effect, they'll show it to you.

The band sold nearly 20,000+ downloads and their 10-track album entered the Billboard Indie chart. The major labels are calling, but the duo is thinking about staying independent. Let's hope that they do.
