Village Voice Releases “Pazz And Jop” Critic’s Poll

image from romyandjacob.com The Village Voice has released its 37th annual "Pazz and Jop" music poll. (No, that's not one of my too frequent typos.) The winners are chosen by 650 music critics, writers and bloggers who create this list of best albums and singles of 2009.  Animal Collective's "Merriweather Post Pavillion" took first place in the album category, and Jay-Z's "New York State of Mind" was named top single.
