So I signed up for Square … all excited to try it out … but you can’t do a thing ’til a) after you’ve passed a credit check and b) they send you the little “square” swiper.
And of course, “due to overwhelming demand” they can’t say when they’re gonna send the swiper, and you can’t manually punch in numbers in the meantime.
Wouldn’t you think that this is gonna be a big deal, so you’d stock up on the item? Just a thought ….
Actually, the majority of Android devices out there are 1.5 or 1.6 and this requires 2.0 or later. Still great but “all Android devices” is slightly misleading. 🙂
Intuit GoPay Mobile works just as good if not better.
We’ll see how all this pans out as this space grows.
